Community Awards


ACE Award

The ACE Award is given to a local student, who has overcome major obstacles in to obtain their edcuation. This award is given annually.



Policeman & Deputy Sheriff of the Year

This award is presented to outstanding officers serving in the local community through law enforcement.



Fireman of the Year

This award is presented during Fire Prevention Week to outstanding firemen serving the local community through exceptional deeds.



Youth of the Month

The Macon Exchange Club recognizes outstanding high school students throughout the year.



Youth of the Year

The Macon Exchange Club selects two of the Youth of the Month award winners (one male and one female) to represent the community at the Exchange Club District Level. If these students win at the District level, they go on the participate in the National Youth of the Year award, awarded by the National Exchange Club.



Book of Golden Deeds

This award is presented to an outstanding member of the community (not necessarily a member of the Macon Exchange Club). The Exchange Club takes into consideration the volunteer effort of the individual, the impact level, and other factors in selecting the recipient.



My Day In Court

The Macon Exchange Club selects a group of children who are given a tour of the Bibb County Court House and attend a session of court. Afterwards, each must write an essay of what they learned during the process. The essays are judged and the best are chosen for awards.



The Exchangite of the Year

The Macon Exchange Club selects a member of their organization for outstanding service.
